Backlog
The backlog is an ordered list of all of the potential items that may be added to the product.
The purpose of the backlog is not to be a detailed list of requirements, but it is the source of truth for the priority of work, and items near the top will tend to have more detail than those further down the list. Until items are likely to be worked on in the near-term, having too much detail is waste.
The backlog should continually be ordered and re-ordered, items should be broken down into smaller slices, and the items nearest to the top should fill out with enough detail to start work only as they are closer to being worked on.
it is important to schedule regular time to work with the client to refine the backlog. A poorly maintained backlog can become a bottleneck for the team and a barrier to understanding the direction of the product
