Default Tools

The following is a list of tools that we tend to default to. Try to adhere to the Principle of Least Astonishment and use these unless you have a good reason not to to. That will hopefully save some time for those that come after you and ensure some degree of consistency between projects.

• Azure DevOps - project collaboration, backlogs, source control (git), CI/CD
• Azure DevOps Wikis - project Documentation
• FigJam - diagrams, collaborative whiteboard sessions
• Figma - design mockups, prototypes
• StoriesOnBoard - story mapping tool
• Microsoft Teams - team and customer async collaboration
• 1Password - secrets, passwords that need to be shared between humans
• Azure KeyVault - secrets, passwords that need to be shared between machines
