Forming a Team
Our teams tend to be formed per project so you will be working with a variety of people over time.
When you start working with a new team, you'd be surprised by how much better things will go if you get together and talk first. Here are a few things you could discuss with your new team to define how you will work together:
- What are each team member's strengths and weaknesses?
- What does each person want to learn or improve during this project? How can you support each other to accomplish these?
- How will the team assign work or self-organize?
- How will you resolve debates or decisions where team members disagree?
- What kind of schedules does each person like to keep?
- What time is best for repeat meetings?
- What are the preferred ways to communicate with each other?
- How will you work to keep remote team members included?
- How will you collaborate with the client?
- How long will your iterations be initially?
